Dixie Chamber of Commerce is a dedicated group of local businesses and individuals, along with a few businesses from outside our borders that are engaged in commerce or offering services in Dixie County.
Together, we strive to support and promote businesses within our community, with a focus on advancing local commerce and fostering team building and leadership development through collaborative local projects.
We convene every second Thursday of the month at noon to synchronize membership activities. We extend invitations to guest speakers who can offer valuable insights or seek our support for significant community improvement projects. Members share updates on their committee work and highlight opportunities for promoting their individual businesses through participation in specific activities or projects.
Our diverse membership includes young entrepreneurs and seasoned business leaders, fostering a wealth of experience and perspectives. We've found that the best practices are often shared when members collaborate on events such as business expos, festivals, airport fly-ins, or broader economic development initiatives.
By joining forces with other community groups, members have the opportunity to learn and share skills while also having fun, bringing impactful ideas to life. We actively support various youth-centered activities, including scholarships, livestock fairs, and initiatives to combat tobacco use.
